He left during his first year to work as an office boy at Orr Skate & Associates, a Melbourne advertising agency. On November 12 is the birthday of

Franck Bohbot, French photographer born in 1980 based in New York.
He began his career as a set photographer, producing a number of photographic series dedicated to urban architecture, from 2008 onwards. His subjects include theatres, libraries, fair grounds, and swimming pools. While Bernd and Hilla Becher dedicate their works to the frontal photography of industrial installations, the French photographer develops a protocol with the same precision that allows him to draw up an inventory of Parisian public, cultural, or sporting sites, devoid of any human presence. The artist adopts a frontal point of view each time, highlighting an almost perfect symmetry. The photographer's outsider's eye thus lends the sites a new dimension: one that is more monumental and stylised. These places are transformed into unique and captivating spaces, both in terms of their historical and sociological aspects, as well as aesthetic concerns.
«I love to develop new series of photographs both timeless and original with a singular aesthetic, capturing the poetry of everyday places and everyday people, with a unique attentiveness to the interplay of light, color. I am trying to create uncommon and powerful visual storytelling. My artistic inspiration comes from cinematographers, directors, architects, painters, photographers, novelists and musicians.»

Today, November 13, is the birthday of

Roger Parry, French photographer and illustrator born in 1905, who participated in the surrealist movement.
He studied decorative arts between 1923 and 1925 and worked as an assistant to Maurice Tabard making his first photographs in 1929. One of his best known works was in 1930 to illustrate the poems of Leon-Paul Fargue in his book Banalité.
His photographic work in those years is experimental and among other resources uses in the image the deformation of parts of the human body.
Shortly afterwards he made several trips to Africa and Tahiti doing a more documentary work. An example of this is his book "Tahiti: 106 photos by R. Parry" published by Éditions Gallimard in 1934. He also did some photojournalism work in Moscow, New York and London for The agency France Press.
From 1948 he collaborated with the publishers in the illustration of books, especially with the Nouvelle Revue Française among which are texts like "The human condition" of André Malraux.
He died in 1977.
